Jacob "Hootman" Hooter claimed the 2026 Lowcountry Open with a two-round score of -11, one of the standout performances of the season and a run that had ESPN cameras rolling for the final round.
Team USA, 2nd Year
Now in his second year representing Team USA, Hootman has become one of the squad's most trusted names heading into the 2026 Britain's Cup in London.
Doubles Championships
Hootman doesn't just win solo, he knows doubles formats inside and out and racks up hardware with a different partner every time. He took the 2024 Virginia Open alongside Austin "Showtime" Ebersole, teamed with Jeff "Hardcore" Harvey to win the 2026 Potomac Highlands Doubles Championship, and paired with Obediah Harter to claim the 2026 Keystone Cup Championship. Three different partners, three different titles, same result.
